The first impression of food is usually visual, and our willingness to accept food depends on its appearance. The appearance provides all the information about the product and its surroundings and thus stands out from the crowd and attracts the eye of the observer. The same situation occurs in the world of baking, where design is crucial for a brand to succeed. Visual identity is one of the key components that make up the identity of a brand. A good visual identity is necessary for success in the market, and trends must be taken into account when creating a unique look. For this reason, the Mario Mar bakery decided to redesign the visual identity in order to refresh and harmonize the overall image of the brand with the trend. For many years, the Mario Mar bakery has had a symbol that is interesting in concept, but not comprehensible at first glance. Because of this, there was a need for change. The goal of this project is to change the current symbol and logo of the bakery in a minimalist way of presentation in order to be in line with the times and to be easily recognizable.
