Abstract
Analiza empirijskih, statističkih i obavještajnih podataka kompleksan je zadatak koji zahtijeva visoki stupanj točnosti analitičkog zaključivanja u izrazito neizvjesnim uvjetima. Ovako izveden zaključak koristi se za popunjavanje praznina u znanju te za analitičara znači princip upravljanja nesigurnostima. Analiza konkurentnih hipoteza strukturirana je analitička metoda koja nam pomaže u razumijevanju kompleksnih problema te nam omogućuje da našoj podsvijesti nametnemo analitičku volju, savladavajući na taj način instinktivne mentalne osobine koje rezultiraju lošim i nepotpunim analizama. Veliki dio analize konkurentnih hipoteza svodi se na procjenu relevantnosti i vrijednosti dokaza kako bi se utvrdila vjerojatnost konkurentnih hipoteza. Za analitičara izazov bi bio stvaranje bolje formalne metode analize korištenjem empirijskih i statističkih podataka te formalnih uvjerenja koja se mogu koristiti u različitim okolnostima kao dokaz koji potvrđuje ili negira svaku od hipoteza. Napredna analiza konkurentnih hipoteza zasniva se na korištenju različitih matematičkih i logičkih modela poput Bayesovih mreža i subjektivne logike koji poboljšavaju rezultate analize.
Abstract (english)
Analysis of empirical, statistical and intelligence data is a complex task that requires a high degree of accuracy of analytical reasoning in an extremely uncertain conditions. This derived conclusion is used to fill gaps in knowledge and for analyst represents a principle of managing the uncertainties. Analysis of competing hypotheses is a structured method of analysis that helps us understand complex problems and allows us to impose our subconscious analytical will, overcoming instinctive mental characteristics that result in poor and incomplete analysis. A large part of the Analysis of competing hypothesis comes down to assessing the relevance and value of the evidence in order to determine the likelihood of competing hypotheses. The challenge for analyst is to create a better formal analysis methods using empirical and statistical data, and formal certainty that can be used in different circumstances as evidence that confirms or denies each of the hypotheses. Advanced analysis of competing hypothesis is based on the use of different mathematical and logical models such as Bayesian networks and subjective logic that improve analysis results.
