U ovom završnom radu opisan je proces migracije e-mail sustava učilišta Algebra s vlastitog sustava Exchange 2010/2013 na sustav Office 365 Exchange Online. Nakon prikaza prethodnog stanja te usluga dostupnih korisnicima na tadašnjem rješenju opisane su usluge dostupne nakon migracije, proces odlučivanja i metodâ migracije te na kraju sam proces hibridne konfiguracije sustava, čiji je rezultat današnji mail sustav učilišta Algebra. Samu migraciju potaknula je činjenica da je postojeći sustav bio nedostatan za trenutne poslovne potrebe Učilišta u smislu ograničenja prostora za pohranu, odnosno veličine korisničkih poštanskih sandučića. Još je jedan faktor bio ključan u donošenju ove odluke: osim Exchangea Učilište koristi Lync sustav te ima želju koristiti SharePoint sustav. Navedeni su sustavi kompleksni i financijski neisplativi za implementaciju u vlastitom podatkovnom centru te je stoga donesena odluka da se oni implementiraju u sklopu usluge Office 365. This Final Paper describes migration process of the e-mail system of educational school Algebra from on-premises Exchange 2010 system to Office 365 Exchange Online. After sole description of current state and services available to users on the on-prem system, this Paper includes decision process and migration process, as well as process of hybrid configuration in what current e-mail system of Algebra is currently running. Migration was triggered by fact that current system is insufficient for current needs of the school in terms of storage restrictions i.e. users’ mailbox size. In addition, one key factor in decision process was usage of other services. Before migration, school used to use Lync on-prem and it had need for SharePoint system. Those systems are complex and financially un-justified for implementation in on-prem environment, so decision has been made to implement that services in Office 365, Microsoft public cloud environment.
