Abstract
Ovim radom prikazuje se funkcionalnost sustava za oporavak od ispada (engl. Disaster Recovery) kao dijela strategije planiranja neprekinutosti poslovanja . U današnje vrijeme informacijski sustav kao dio poslovnog sustava postao je ključan za funkcioniranje poslovanja u velikom broju tvrtki i ustanova, te sve više u fokus dolazi potreba za njegovim neprestanim i neprekinutim funkcioniranjem. Jedan od načina osiguranja neprekinutosti poslovanje jest definiranje ključnih poslovnih procesa i potreba, te implementacija procedura i tehnologije koje osiguravaju dostupnost informacijskog sustava u slučaju havarije. Takvi poslovni zahtjevi rezultirali su razvojem specijaliziranih vrsta softvera za implementaciju i kontrolu sustava za oporavak. U radu su opisani koncept sustava za planiranje neprekinutosti poslovanja, plana za oporavak od ispada, funkcionalnosti i osnovne značajke softvera potrebnog za izradu rješenja, te naposljetku implementacija takvog sustava. Praktični rad izveden je u virtualnoj okolini temeljenoj na VMware vSphere hipervizoru i VMware Site Recovery softveru.
Abstract (english)
This graduation work presents the functionality of the system to recover from failure - Disaster Recovery as part of the business continuity planning . Nowadays information system as part of the business system has become essential for the functioning of the business in a numerous companies and institutions, and the need for its continuous and uninterrupted operation increasingly comes to focus. One way of ensuring of the business continuity is defining of key business processes and needs, and the implementation of procedures and technologies that provide access to information system in case of disaster. Such business requirements have resulted in the development of specialized types of software for implementation and control of disaster recovery. The tehsis describes the concept of business continuity planning, recovery plan tin case of disaster, the functionality and the basic features of the software needed to create these solutions, and finally the implementation of such a system. Practical work is carried out in a virtual environment based on VMware vSphere hypervisor and VMware Site Recovery software.
